
An easy summer staple perfect for BBQs and family meals
Ingredients
120g Beans
1 Red Onion
90g Mushrooms
2 tbsp Olive Oil
1 slice of Bread (optional)
2 cloves Garlic
1 tsp Paprika
1 Red Pepper
Method
- Preheat the oven at 210C
- Put all of the ingredients except the pepper and ½ the onion in a food processor – if you don’t have one you can mash the beans and chop the vegetables up and small as possible
- Next shape the patties with your hands into burger shapes and place them onto an oven-proof tray
- Slice the remaining onion & pepper and add onto the tray in the gaps between the patties and put the tray in the oven
- Cook for around 30 mins until the burgers are browning and cooked all the way through
- You can then serve on brioche buns as burgers or blend the onions & peppers to make a sauce and serve the burgers on a refreshing salad as a light summer lunch
