Autumn Cinnamon Apples

Baking this treat makes the house smell amaaazing and makes you want to snuggle up in fluffy socks & watch Chrismas films (which is totally fine because these apples go perfectly with lazy days). You can also serve in porridge, as a dessert with ice cream, or be used as a filling for an apple pie and the mushy texture means that your youngest can have a little taste

4 Large Apples

15g Brown Sugar

1 tbsp Cinnamon

1 tbsp Butter

Splash of Water



  1. Peel & slice your apples
  2. Coat them in the sugar & cinnamon – you can let them rest in the mixture for 10 mins to really get the sugar ready for caramelising
  3. Melt your butter in a pan and add your apples
  4. Cover for 8-10 mins (stirring occasionally)
  5. Serve with oats for a breakfast treat or with ice cream for a yummy pud
